Kira builds modular, on-site wastewater transformation systems for industrial operations. This policy covers kira.eco and the enquiries, pilots, and commercial conversations that start here. It does not cover third-party sites we link to.

For data protection purposes, Kira is the controller of the personal data described below.

We collect only what we need to answer you and run the site:

• Contact details you give us - name, company, role, email address, and anything else you put in a message or pilot enquiry.
• Correspondence - the content of emails and meeting notes relating to a potential or active engagement.
• Technical data - IP address, browser and device type, and pages viewed, collected by our hosting provider in standard server logs.
• Usage data - aggregated, non-identifying measures of how the site is used, where analytics are enabled.

We do not knowingly collect data from children, and we do not collect special categories of personal data through this site.

• To respond to enquiries and to scope, quote, and deliver projects.
• To operate, secure, and improve the site and our systems.
• To send updates you have asked for, which you can stop at any time.
• To meet legal, accounting, and regulatory obligations.

Where the law requires a legal basis, we rely on legitimate interests for running our business and this site, on performance of a contract for project work, on consent for optional communications, and on legal obligation where a rule requires us to keep records.

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers acting on our instructions - hosting, email, and productivity platforms - and with professional advisers or authorities where we are legally required to.

Some of these providers operate outside your country. Where data is transferred internationally, we rely on recognised safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as the relationship is active and for a reasonable period afterwards, and we keep contract and financial records for the period required by law. Server logs are kept for a short, rolling window. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.

The site uses cookies that are strictly necessary for it to work, and, where enabled, privacy-friendly analytics to understand which pages are useful. You can block or delete cookies in your browser; parts of the site may then behave differently.

We use access controls, encryption in transit, and vetted providers to protect personal data. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we will notify you and the relevant authority where a breach requires it.

We may update this policy as our products and obligations change. The date at the top of the page always reflects the current version, and material changes will be highlighted here.
